Большинство малообеспеченных людей знают, что значит Секонд Хенд, ведь им приходиться экономить каждую копейку, чтобы выжить в нашем суровом мире. Вообще, не так-то просто определить, что такое Секонд-Хенд , магазин ли это для малоимущих или для очень экономных особей пытающихся прожить до зарплаты, и ещё что-то купить себе из необходимых вещей. Секонд-Хенд - это магазин поддержанных вещей, и обычно под этим понимают ношенную импортную одежду, которую покупают в европейских странах за "смешные" деньги
Термин "Секонд Хенд " был заимствован из английского языка "second hand " и переводится, как "вторые руки". На самом деле историю появления этого выражения знают не многие, а ведь она уходит своими корнями в седые времена. Вы наверное не раз видели в фильмах, как королевские особы дарили особо отличившимся людям одежду со своего плеча. На самом деле, раньше это считалось очень почётно, например получить в подарок от короля охотничий плащ. Кроме того, раз в пол года этот предмет одежды по приказу короля менял своего владельца. Однако, раз получивший подобную вещь от самого сюзерена считался его опорой, на которую тот мог положиться во всех щекотливых делах, по сути он признавался "второй" правой рукой, иначе называемой "секонд-хенд ". Спустя время, это понятие вошло в разговорную речь первых американских поселенцев. В ту пору проводились постоянные акции, когда обеспеченные люди раздавали беднякам свою ношенную одежду.
Сегодня магазин "Секонд Хенд " является частью наших городов, и если в демократические 90-е, когда вся страна нищала от реформ либералов, это заведение представляла собой грязный подвальчик или некую точку, где грудой было навалено разное тряпьё, то теперь это большие и чистые магазины, где все вещи выглажены и развешены по местам.
Вредно ли носить вещи из Секонд Хенда ? На самом деле это ещё один миф. В ЕС подобная одежда проходит специальную обработку 40 % параформалином в течении 160 минут, при этом температуру поднимают до 59 градусов, что позволяет уничтожить любые микробы и бактерии. Единственное, что необходимо сделать после покупки, это постирать вещи, но не потому, что они заразные, а потому что параформалин вызывает у человека аллергию.
